Plan Your Visit

The Archery Range has 10 shooting lanes, and it tends to be busiest on weekend mornings and early evenings when the weather is nice.

Amenities: The range includes an accessible porta potty and a few picnic tables, but there’s no shelter from rain, so plan for the weather.

Equipment: Bring your own gear. There’s no on-site equipment available, and crossbows are not permitted. Nearby shops like Archers Afield ( 11945 SW Pacific Hwy #121, Tigard, OR 97223 | (503) 639-3553; archersafield.com↗ ) offer rentals and advice, if you need it.

Fun Fact

The Archery Range sits right next to the Wildwood Trail, making it easy to pair your practice session with a pre- or post-shoot hike.

Getting Here

Skip the parking stress and take transit. Parking fills fast on busy days and during events, and payment is required at all lots. The Washington Park Free Shuttle Loop stops at all major attractions throughout the Park, making it easy to get around without a car.

Riding with equipment?

Keep your bow and arrows secured in a proper case or quiver—TriMet asks that sporting equipment be safely contained and not block aisles or doors. When using the Free Shuttle, wait for others to board first and choose a seat near the front or back so your gear stays out of the way and you can exit without rushing.

Getting Around

The Washington Park Free Shuttle connects every major attraction on a continuous loop - hop on and off as many times as you like, no parking or navigation required. Pair your visit to the Archery Range with another nearby attraction for a car-free day in the Park.
