PLAN YOUR VISIT
Getting to Washington Park by Car & Rideshare
If you’re planning to come by car or rideshare, be prepared for limited parking and high demand on sunny days and during special events. Traffic to and within the Park can be slow on peak days, so plan extra time and consider taking transit and getting around using our Free Shuttle for a less stressful, car-free visit.
Rideshare Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Uber and Lyft offer door-to-door service to Washington Park attractions. All rideshare zones are accessible and clearly marked. When you schedule your ride, select “Washington Park” as your destination and choose your specific attraction. Your driver will follow signs to the designated zone. To be picked up, return to the same drop-off location to request your ride home.
Driving Directions
Washington Park is 2 miles west of downtown Portland, accessible from Highway 26. From Highway 26 (East or West):
Take Exit 72 for Zoo/Forestry Center
