Parking at Washington Park
Washington Park has several paid parking lots throughout the Park; however, spaces fill quickly during busy times, especially on weekends and sunny days. You can check real-time parking availability before you head out—or consider taking transit or rideshare to skip parking stress entirely.
Parking Lots
Washington Park has several paid parking areas throughout the Park, including three main parking lots located near the south entrance, off exit 72 on Highway 26. Every major attraction in the park is accesible via the Free Shuttle Loop that picks up near lots A, B & C.
Additional paid parking is available throughout the Park:
Street parking along SW Sherwood Boulevard (~180 spaces)
Portland Japanese Garden (~32 spaces, includes 3 ADA-accessible spaces)
Vietnam Veterans Memorial (~30 spaces)
Rose Garden (~25 spaces)
Tennis Courts (~60 spaces)
Lewis & Clark Circle (~20 spaces)
Holocaust Memorial / Washington Way (~20 spaces)
Archery Range (~20 spaces)
Parking Cost & How to Pay
Hours: Daily, 9:30am–8pm
Rates:
$2.40 per hour
$9.60 maximum per day
Rates and hours may change during special events. Check pay stations for current information.
Washington Park uses pay-by-plate. Enter your license plate number when you pay.
At pay stations: Pay with coins, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
