Why Vend in Washington Park?
Washington Park is Portland’s most visited destination, welcoming more than 3 million people each year. It’s home to many of the city’s most treasured attractions—including the Oregon Zoo, Portland Japanese Garden, Hoyt Arboretum, World Forestry Center and International Rose Test Garden—along with miles of trails, historic memorials, playgrounds, picnic areas, sports facilities and more. Together, these destinations make Washington Park a place where visitors can spend an entire day exploring, connecting and enjoying the outdoors.
Washington Park’s nationally recognized cultural institutions attract visitors to Portland, support hundreds of jobs, and generate spending that extends beyond the Park to hotels, restaurants, retailers, and other local businesses. Together, these experiences help shape Portland’s identity as a world-class tourist destination.
Food is an essential part of that Portland experience. By bringing food carts into Washington Park, we can connect two things visitors come to Portland for: great food and the outdoors.
Let’s create an experience together that feels distinctly Portland.
